Ordinal Stack Trainer

Privacy Policy

Last updated 18 October 2026

Ordinal collects nothing. Everything you enter stays on your device.

Ordinal Stack Trainer (“Ordinal”) is an iPhone app for learning and practising memorized card stacks. It is made by typif.ai (“we”). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it.

What we collect

Nothing. Ordinal does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal data. It has no account, no server of its own, and no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking code.

What stays on your device

Ordinal keeps a small amount of data so it remembers your work between sessions:

This is held in the app's own storage on your device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting Ordinal deletes all of it.

Network access

The iPhone app ships every asset — card art and the Library articles included — inside the app, and makes no network requests in normal use. The Library contains links to the sources it cites; following one opens your browser and is subject to that site's own policy, not this one. Ordinal does not record whether you follow them.

Backups

Settings → Backup writes a file containing your custom stacks, statistics, mnemonics and preferences. You choose where that file goes. It is not sent anywhere by Ordinal.

Practice reminders

If you turn on a daily reminder, Ordinal schedules a notification on your device through iOS. No server is involved, and you can turn it off at any time in Settings.

Children

Ordinal collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If a future version gains a feature that genuinely needs a network service, this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be described on this page with a new date.
